David is an EU, competition and trade lawyer with 20 years’ experience of working on high profile complex legal and regulatory matters. He has been involved in private practice in many prominent antitrust, cartel and merger investigations across a wide-range of sectors.
David is also regularly working in the field of state aid and international trade law as well as on Brexit related matters.
David advises companies and trade associations directly, but is also called upon to provide specialist support and assistance to international law firms and economic consultancies in respect of major antitrust, merger and trade investigations.
David has been an official in the European Commission and the UK competition authority where he worked on antitrust and regulatory investigations in network industries. David started off his career as a legal adviser at the Confederation of British Industry where he advised on EU, competition and trade law.
David is admitted to practise at the Bar of England & Wales and the Brussels Bar (A List). He regularly gives talks and publishes papers on competition law and trade law.
